Meet Lauren

Located in Milwaukee Wisconsin, Lauren has been making jewelry since 2015. Her journey into metal smithing began with a short course at a museum in her hometown. Recently, she attended the New Approach school in Tennessee to broaden her techniques. She has continued to hone her skills to perfect her craft, with a particular focus on reworking old heirloom pieces to give them a new life. Having made hundreds of pieces over the years, most one of a kind, Lauren has cultivated her own unique organic style. Inspired by the idea of all things being “in motion”, her style pulls from the smoothness of water to the roughness of the rocks created by the erosion water brings.

.

Each piece is handmade, cast, and finished in my studio in Milwaukee Wisconsin. All work uses recycled sterling silver and gold and responsibly sourced stones as well as items found in nature.

Every piece of jewelry is created with lasting craftsmanship using quality materials with the intention of becoming heirlooms to be loved by future generations.
